This rubber heel is standard equipment on the SST 1+4 because of it universal effectiveness on a majority of approaches. Recommended for normal approach conditions.

The Blue Horseshoe standard heel is a medium hardness material which suits more styles than any other heel offered by Dexter. The heel is made of a special Dexter rubber blend which has slip coefficient added to the rubber and a smooth finish for even braking control. The beveled edge in the shape of a horseshoe and the tapered design offer maximum edge contact with the approach and a smooth transaction from the slide sole to the braking heel. The Horseshoe heels are made of proprietary rubber compositions available exclusively to Dexter.
Includes with Men's SST Entry, SST 4, SST 5, SST 6, and Women's SST, SST 5, and SST 6.
H-7: Little Brake (Most Slide)

The Red Heel is made with a leather slide surface, including a rubber base and bevel. Recommanded for sticky approach conditions.
